Dr. C. L. Liu received his Sc.D. degree (1962) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was on the faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1962-72) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1972-98), and served as President and Professor of Computer Science at the National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan from 1998 to 2002. In addition, he serves as Board member and consultant at a number of high tech companies in Taiwan, and is active in educational as well as charitable services on a worldwide basis. His expertise is in the semiconductor area, particularly in the design and manufacturing aspects. Dr. David Su was named president of Lextar in 2008. Prior to his current position, Dr. Su was Sr. VP of AUO, leading the TV Display, Audio-Video Display and Mobile Device Display business units. In 1986, he joined the General Electric (GE) Company, responsible for TFT-LCD project for avionics application. In 1990, he joined Unipac Optoelectronics and set up Taiwan's first TFT-LCD fab. Then Su became the Vice President of Product Development at Unipac from 1995 to 2001. In 2001, Acer Display Technology merged Unipac and was renamed as AUO. After the merger Su began his sales and marketing career by becoming GM of Audio-Video Display business unit and in 2003, he took over the TV Display business unit. In recognition of his skilled leadership, Su received the National Manager Excellence Award from the Chinese Professional Management Association, and Distinguished Alumnus of National Tsing Hua University in 2006. In Sep 2010, Su was elected as the chairman and president of Lextar Electronics.

Su received a Ph.D. Degree from the State University of New York, Stony Brooks in 1986 and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan in 1982.

Tom Thieme graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Berlin (Germany) in process and environmental engineering. Initially, as global product manager of TOTAL's special chemical division he approached the Asian silicon memory and CMOS semiconductor industry.
