He is a member of Academia Sinica, a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery.

Mr.Chu once was an analyst at DRAMeXchange. He also worked for Hua Nan Securities as an analyst and Qunmao Management Consulting Company as a management trainee. His previous research scope covered DRAM, packaging and testing as well as other electronic industries.

Ryoichi (George) Tohmon received his B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1983, 1987 and 1990, respectively.
He joined Minolta Camera Co. (Tokyo, Japan) in 1983, where he was engaged in the development of firmware and digital electronic circuits for color ink-jet printers.
He joined Eastman Kodak Japan (Yokohama, Japan) in 1990, where he was engaged in the research and development of GaAsP LED for use in LED printers.
He joined Anritsu Corp. (Atsugi, Japan) in 1993, where he was engaged in the research and development of InP distributed-feedback laser diodes for use in optical communications
He joined Agility Communications Inc. (Santa Barbara CA, USA) in 2001, where he was engaged in the research and development of InP wavelength-tunable distributed Bragg reflector laser diodes for use in optical communications
In 2003, he joined Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd., Optoelectronic Business Unit, Technical Div No.1 where he was engaged in the research and development of GaN-based blue-LED, white-LED and phosphors for white-LED. In 2009 he transferred to Optoelectronic Planning Div, and has since been engaged in IP issues and licensing programs for GaN-based blue- and white-LED.

Seoul Semiconductor

Marten F.C. Willemsen received his Masters degrees from HTS-Electronics Zwolle, University of Technology Eindhoven in 1978 and 1983, respectively. Now, he is the Vice President Global Marketing of Seoul Semiconductor, who is a global executive with many years of international experience in the lighting industry, and with global exposure to Product Development, Marketing, China Manufacturing & Government lobby in several Business Development & Change Management functions. Proven skills in leadership & people management in European and Asian region. 1989-1999, he had worked in Philips Lighting Netherlands as Group manager of Central Development Lighting. He transferred Philips Lighting China in 1999, where he had served as Development Manager Asia Fluorescent, Director of Quality of China Sourcing Group, Co-Founder and Chairman of Asia Lighting Compact and Director of Marketing CFL. He joined General Electric China in 2010, and held the position of General Manager of Product Management Asia. In 2013, he joined Seoul Semiconductor, now he serves as Vice President Global Marketing.

Philips Lumileds

Ray Chock holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Davis, he is the Sr. Director of Market & Business Development. He has worked in the optoelectronics industry for over 15 years. He is responsible for driving new business opportunities and establishing the product requirements for emerging applications. Prior to joining Philips Lumileds, Chock had held various executive management and business development positions at Hewlett-Packard, Sharp andZilog.

 LEDinside (Trendforce)

Mainly responsible for specification and price survey of LED packaging and light source, also conduct the research on oversea lighting market like policy standar and enterprise dynamic. Terri Wang has kept track of global lighting market and lighting-use pakaging LED market dynamic, observing the changes of LED lighting industry in view of globalization, continually providing accurate price and market dynamic for LED industry.

Michael Schmitt is Regional Marketing Director of Solid State Lighting at OSRAM Opto Semiconductor based in Shanghai. Prior to that position he worked in several positions in Quality Management and Product Marketing in Germany, USA and Japan. He is with OSRAM Opto Semiconductors since 15 years and holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University Munich.

Guoqing Tang, a senior economist, now serves as the General Manager China of Samsung LED Department. He is a senior expert in domestic semiconductor lighting and one of the first batch of members in National Semiconductor Lighting Project (2003). His additional posts include secretary general of Lighting China Semiconductor Lighting Technology and Application Professional Committee, the vice chairman of National Semiconductor Lighting Project R & D and Industry Alliance, and the chairman of SEMI Chinese LED Lighting Industry Committee.

Previously Mr.Tang was vice general manager of Shanghai Semiconductor Company, and the chief representative of National 909 Project (Chinese first large scale integrated circuit, Hua Hong NEC project). He successively occupied prestigious positions in Shanghai Jinqiao Export Processing Zone, Mitsui High-Tech (Shanghai), COTCO Optoelectronics, Shanghai Cree. He was awarded the Shanghai Model Worker.

Mr. Lawrence Lin is a graduate of NCCU, Taiwan, majored in Chinese Literature. He has worked in the LED industry for more than 16 years, and joined MLS in 2011, now serves as Marketing & Sales General Manager. Since 2012, Lin has started to build the MLS lighting products distributing channels in China, America, Europe and Asia. Right now MLS lighting already has more than 5000 retail shops & 100 Agents. As one of the well-known company in the LED retrofit lamps, MLS ships over millions units of TLED & Bulb per month.
