| Dr. C. L. Liu received his Sc.D. degree (1962) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was on the faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1962-72) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1972-98), and served as President and Professor of Computer Science at the National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan from 1998 to 2002.
In addition, he serves as Board member and consultant at a number of high tech companies in Taiwan, and is active in educational as well as charitable services on a worldwide basis. His expertise is in the semiconductor area, particularly in the design and manufacturing aspects.
He is a member of Academia Sinica, a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery. |

| Mr. Feng Chen received his Bachelor of Applied Physics at Tsinghua University in 1991. He pursued his Doctorate at Lehigh University in the USA in 1992, and got the Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering in 1995. He serves as Vice-president and Marketing Director since he joint Rockchip Electronics in 2008. From 1996 to October 2002, Mr. Chen has served as researcher at Bell Labs in America, working on research and development of chips for cell phone. During the time, the chips he participated in and took charge of researching and developing were widely used in many famous manufacturers’ productions, such as Nokia、Samsung、Motorola、Ericsson. In addition, he has been awarded many international patents in different fields, such as mixed-digital circuit、low-power consumption、CDMA. From 2002 to 2008, he served as design service center’s chief in SMIC, the biggest wafer plant. Not only completed over 60 deep submicron ASIC designs, he was also in charge of technical documents、reference design cycle of 0.18um to 45um、low-power consumption design、DFM and application service. During that period, he also leaded numerous national research and development projects allotted by the National Science and Technology Committee、Ministry of Information Industry and “863 Project”. |
